Review on Master Yoda B: Full Drill Diamond Painting Kit for 5D DIY Embroidery Home Décor with Crystal Rhinestones by Summer Hendricks

Decent quality for the price

I'm new to diamond painting. I bought this because of the low price, delivery within days (not weeks as others have suggested), and the fact that it was Yoda. I bought an expensive set from Diamond Art Club which I thought was great but NOT inexpensive to buy multiple. The set was well packaged, the drill bits are well labeled and included, and the canvas is easy to level. The size is 40 x 50 cm and the size of the painting is only 36 x 46 cm. I really wish the description made clear the size of the canvas compared to the size of the painting. The image was of excellent quality and I could read all the characters easily. They contained a larger key blade for easier reading. I'm not quite done yet, but I'm very happy with the final look of the painting. Detail is plentiful and not as pixelated as the smaller sizes. However, I noticed that the glue is not as sticky as the more expensive brands. I haven't had major issues with the bits not getting stuck, but we'll see how it holds up over time. I was also a bit disappointed with the drills themselves. They don't sparkle like expensive sets. I think because there are fewer faces. The drills were also slightly uneven in size (some were thicker than others). All in all I would recommend this set for the price. I love diamond painting but paying $45 for a 40x50 kit is beyond my budget. This set would make a great gift for someone and won't break the bank (so you can give a few away). The cons I mentioned don't really matter that much unless you're the cleanest. I am completely satisfied with this set and will be buying more in the future.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
