The package I received is slightly different from the description and looks a bit different than the Revain photo, but I like them anyway . First, the bushings I received are translucent, not opaque white. Another difference is that I wouldn't call them "single" because the ones I have have the ability to run multiple wires of different sizes. The main hole is actually the standard size of a television coaxial cable. But next to this hole there are two more, one about 14 gauge and the other about 18 gauge. The secondary vents are covered with a thin plastic cover that apparently needs to be removed with a knife if you want to use them. Otherwise just leave it alone and use the main hole in the middle. This makes installation a bit more difficult as just drilling a properly sized hole in the drywall won't work. You need to drill a hole and then cut a little more with a hacksaw, for example at the 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions. It would be a great inconvenience if I used more than a few. As for my purpose, I use them to run speaker wire in my attic walls. I used Monoprice 14 gauge CL2 speaker wire (for wall mounting) and the white shell is exactly the size of the main hole for them, so I'm very happy with the fit. it's perfect for me I painted mine to match the color of my wall. I nailed some trim nails into a 2x4 scrap, placed some bushings over the nails to hold them up, applied a coat of primer recommended for plastic, then applied 2 coats of paint. The results are great and I hope the primer helps hold the paint together well so it doesn't scratch. I would recommend that you paint a little more than you need and let the paint dry for a week before proceeding with the installation. Allow the paint to dry properly, not just dry, to eliminate scratches during installation. This plastic is very slick and the paint can scratch easily, but using a primer and curing it properly helps a lot.
