We have a 3 year old economy memory foam mattress that has started to lose support. We read many reviews and chose this one based on the number of positive reviews. This topper is tops. After it arrived, we unpacked it to do its thing. If you read the materials that come with it, the manufacturer recommends walking on it so that the foam expands. Works, after 10 minutes you can sleep. And we slept. I usually sleep 5 to 6 hours a night because of chronic back pain. It's been a week and I sleep 7 hours a night.
