Great Phone - Mobile Phones

Great phone for the price. I wish it had a few things it doesn't need, but it would make it a 5 star phone for me. Currently ships with Android 10. I'm assuming Android 11 doesn't count towards two system updates, and if it does, you might never buy a Nokia again. However, all Android manufacturers still stink about it. Let's see how Nokia will fare, whether they live up to my expectations or not, but in any case they won't be worse than Motorola. a sound that can't be turned off in settings and doesn't need a dedicated Android assistant button (it would be nice to remap that). One thing I'm spoiled for on Samsung phones is the amazing power saving mode that can at least double battery life. This phone only has the stock version of Android. Android 10 introduces a new navigation system. If you hate the same thing I do, you can go back to the 3 screen navigation buttons from the system gesture settings. The test photo turned out well. I like the picture quality. Photographers I don't understand, so cheer if you think it stinks and spend more to buy a camera you think looks good. This pass for me and I don't like smelly photos. The screen looks good, the performance seems good, lots of space and an SD card make it very spacious. Impressed with the value for what you get but a few more little things would make it absolutely amazing. I recommend as other manufacturers at this price or less new are not as good as this one. For example, Moto is so bad at releasing what you want updates. Update 1: I see that Nokia has made a drastic leap in OS updates. There is currently no Android 11 update planned for version 5.4 and Nokia has released a 2021 schedule without it. Considering they're only now releasing Android 11 for their existing devices, which is a huge delay, I don't expect it to arrive until 2022 unless they fix their schedule somehow. If their schedule is so disrupted, it will be interesting to see how they treat their customers regarding OS updates once January 2024 is over. 5.4 is an Android 11 enabled device so it should be coming soon, but Android 12 might come out before Android 11 even gets it. That means the current operating system could have two releases behind it just this year. Correctly. These are at least roughly monthly security updates and only much time will tell how OS updates actually pan out. Update 2: Nokia has included 5.4 in its revised Android 11 schedule and it should be available soon. At least they adjusted their schedule. Not that their schedule is great, but for now it's an improvement on 5.4.
