The remote control/adapter that came with these lights is very faulty. If you want to use the light flashing function, the light will stop working after 3 flashes, but you can hear a very loud "hmmm" from the lights. In order for the remote to work you have to press and hold the power button on the remote and then again press the connector that connects to the shield and then press the power button for the remote and even that doesn't work fully every time. After turning on the light to check everything is working, the light in the letter "V" and other parts of the sign don't even work anymore. I think for $130 it should have been better with the functionality. I will return it and buy elsewhere.
