Review on Yweller VF4000 Replacement Cartridge Filter: Compatible with Ridgid, Husky, and Craftsman Vacs - Washable & Reusable - 1 Pack by Sandra Price

I tried this replacement filter on 2 factory hard vacuums with a concrete mixer in my basement that produces a lot of fine dust. It worked very well on an older vacuum that used a plastic nut to hold the filter to the body. This hasn't worked for the newer rigid vacuum, which simply uses a larger stand to hold the filter. Dust came out of my vacuum cleaner exhaust pipe. The inner diameter of the filter seemed too small to slide completely over the filter holder of a new type of vacuum cleaner. This filter is probably fine for car cleaning or other non-critical tasks, but I've tried to keep the basement air clean when working in a dusty environment.
