I really wanted the clear cellophane to become bookmarks to help my students with dyslexia. The seller really does not give a detailed description. The buyer rated it "clear enough to see the gifts inside," which is exactly what this buyer wanted. I don't think it's cellophane - it's softer and more pliable than cellophane and more translucent than clear. You can kind of see what's in the box, but that's not enough for me to make the clear yellow bookmarks I wanted to make. I'm disappointed because I opened the bag to check the transparency of the plastic and I really have no intention of buying opaque bags without cellophane for $5 or more.
