I sent my Beam back for that and it was the right choice. I have a sub and surround and the beam was weak. thin and lacking in presence, even in my smaller condo. It's no HDMI arc, but it's limited in its practicality, and a simple Alexa dot gives you full voice commands. the extra test was worth it - at least for my needs. It's amazing how clear it sounds and how it fills the room. I've done many high-end AV setups and I'm just sick of the complexity, wiring, remote controls, etc. At this point in my life, it fits surprisingly well.
