That's really all a kitty wants in a scratching post, isn't it? Or really, that's all they want in everything. Destroying things is fun because Mom and Dad will always replace them. Either way, our kitties seem to find it fun, but most of them don't like to swing. Things should stay calm when you tear them apart. It's better to put it on the ground like a bridge than put it on like a rocking chair. Also, most of our kittens are very large (12-20 lbs) so they are a bit small. Well I think it's a bit small. Our largest cat finds she can fit in a shoe box, so this might be the right size for her. It contains some catnip. I don't know how high quality/organic it is, whatever it is, but it does the job.
