While I genuinely LOVE this belt - I actually bought two (black and brown) - I have to state right off the bat that this style may NOT be for everyone.1. The belt buckle is a stunning design. I've been looking and finally found this one. Which I think would look PERFECT! I bought black to match my black, gray and navy blue loads. And brown to match my Cayote, Copper and Kakki colors. I hope this next tip helps you. I wear pants with a 36" waist, so I ordered these belts in the range: 36 - 42 (medium). Excess belt, end, goes to the right side. The end of the belt would be right there. So I'm wondering wondered if a size 30 - 36 (small) would be better. Less extra? hides excess very well. Another common negative point I noticed in the reviews is the elasticity of the strap. Some people have indicated that the material is too stretches. This is not the case for me. I found the material to be quite durable. It did its intended job of keeping my pants in place all day. I am VERY HAPPY with my purchase and love my belts!
