I was a little apprehensive when I first bought this product, but I am very satisfied with this product! I just wanted something that didn't cost money to wear while my engagement ring was being repaired. My engagement ring is rose gold and this ring goes really well with it! I was concerned the color of the stone would be dark as in the photo but it is a lovely peach color the same color as my real morganite stone. I got as many compliments on this ring as I did on my real one. I intentionally treated this ring the same as my original one (and maybe even a little rougher) to test it and see how long it would last. My job requires me to wash my hands very often and I never take my rings off (except in the shower). I am very clumsy and constantly banging my hands and inevitably a ring on various surfaces. This ring was also exposed to cleaning products, mainly all-purpose cleaners but also a small amount of disinfectant solution that contained bleach. Having said that, I've been wearing this ring almost constantly for the past 6 weeks and it's only now that I'm noticing the rose gold rim around the back of the bracelet and the tips of the prongs that hold the headstone. I lost two side stones but none of those imperfections are very noticeable and for $20 I'd say it's a win! I'm sure if I treated it the way I wanted it it would still look brand new! I have read other comments about the stone looking matte and not shiny. As someone who owns morganite, which is nothing new to me, it looks boring, some mild soap in warm water and a soft-bristled toothbrush (like for babies) always helps me! My husband decided to save money and just upgrade my ring instead of fixing the setting. I'll probably buy another one of these later when the wear and tear becomes more apparent. Overall, I'm very happy with this ring and hope my more detailed (and longer) review will help others who are concerned about online shopping but find many reviews useless, as I often do.
