My daughter has beautiful fine 3b/3c hair and is still a toddler so I needed something light weight. Now it doesn't lather, but it's more like washing together, I think her hair is clean afterwards, not dry. The spray isn't too heavy for her hair or even my fine wavy hair, it's great for detangling dry or wet hair (for curly hair I recommend wet or wet only, not dry). Curl oil is great for your hair, even in the days after a wash day it only takes a little on damp hair to refresh it. Boys hair is 3a, 3b it's short so doesn't need much product but shampoo and a small amount of curl oil looks great ;) I like the EWG safety ratings, unlike other curling products.
