Review on 🔋 Amazon Basics Battery Charger for AA & AAA Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries with USB Port by Megan Rogers

We have had this product for 2 years and my husband noticed a strange burnt plastic smell last night. wakes me up at one in the morning to help him find him. didn't smoke anything, but something definitely smelled like it. To no avail we turned off everything in the living room, took the dogs outside, cats in boxes, packed the 4 month old baby, called 911 and waited for you to check it out. they looked everywhere and concluded that our air purifier was the problem so we threw it out and they left. After 30 minutes my husband smells again. he searches everywhere. Turns out this charging box, lying DISCONNECTED on our coffee table with ZERO BATTERIES inside, was melting. So glad we found him before he got worse. I do not give a clear purchase recommendation.
