Broke in use Fits in a fly swatter

The first thing I thought upon opening the packaging was how small the flap was and not flexible. In the hand, however, they feel like heavy fly swatters. When I hunted my first fly, the fly swatter came off immediately. I thought I just got too aggressive. I grabbed another. Clap! That one broke too, and so it went on until they all broke. Maybe it's just how I beat up the flies that invade my apartment. I just don't find them flexible enough.
