I had some nice Parsons chairs that my kitty scratched. However, the sizes of the chairs weren't "normal" - the backs were longer and narrower, and I couldn't find any traditional covers that would fit. These slipcovers are a bit see-through so I folded them in half - 2 per chair - and pinned them to the base of my priest chairs. Even though they weren't MATCHING at the seat/back junction, they still looked very nice and gave me a few more years of life with these chairs. If I didn't move and give them away the cases would eventually have to be replaced (after 3 years of use!) but then again this was a very inexpensive option. So it is of great importance.
