not even suitable for writing letters. I saw comments about how it buckled under the weight of a large laptop, but I knew I wanted to use it for writing, and these materials weigh next to nothing, so I figured it would still work for me. I knew a similarly thin piece of plywood would work just fine, so I wasn't worried. Oh no. There's no stiffness, and even resting my hand slightly while writing wasn't enough; It flexes at the slightest touch and doesn't provide a secure surface for pretty much anything. It just doesn't work for anything other than using my iPad. And I didn't want it for that. Completely disappointed.
