Just bought and installed them so can't comment on durability. However, my wife and I are very happy with how they ended up in the kitchen with cabinet lighting. We just added a glass tile backsplash as the latest addition to our new kitchen. We regretted choosing the tile color as the tile looked a lot darker than we thought. With these lights, they look exactly how we imagined. I bought these because I have had positive experiences with LED strips in the past. They are easy to work with. I got them partly because they were connected via USB, so I just needed the USB plug that came with them instead of the transformer box. This helps with a clean install. Another reason is that each strip is connected with a flexible joint that makes it easy to take a clean turn without binding the light strips or creating weird hotspots. I bought three of these. I didn't know beforehand, just hoping one remote would work for all three bands. I am very happy with it. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to offer smaller runs for less money. I only used about a third of each. It doesn't matter because they are still very cheap. One note, as with all of these LED strips, the adhesive is just about adequate. I used a few thin strips of brown masking tape to keep anything from falling off. I have moldings under these cabinets so you can't see the extra tape or the lights themselves without sticking your head underneath. If I encounter any problems I will update the review.
