Edit: This bit will not fit the 1/4" body and is too small for the 1/2" body. it cannot be used in a standard router π€·π»ββοΈLook at the picture. I bought beats from this company which I really like. 1/2 inch. I bought a 1/4" bit not too long ago, changed the router bit to 1/4", tightened the bit but at high speed the shank bent (probably due to a weight distribution issue with the top heavy bits) and it flew out, damaged the fence and I'm just glad the bit didn't hit me. In the picture from left to right. (all Kowood bits) genuine half inch shank, the new bit I bought was advertised and labeled on the box as "1/2 inch shank" and then is the bit that shot me , On the right side. Does anyone think this new bit is safe for my Bosh router table?
