Works great on my pool suction. I like being able to remove/replace it with two unions. Inexpensive enough to buy another one as a spare. However these are the same fittings (ie compatible threads etc.) that are used in many other pool equipment such as Hayward salt cells etc. I bought a replacement fitting for my cells but this valve comes with two and that is it cheaper than two replacement fittings!
- 1/2 lb spring tension to securely close the valve
