Review on πŸ’ͺ Powerful MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Suprim X 24GB Graphics Card - Unleash Your Gaming Potential! by Somchai Tameeyasen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

The overclocking potential is small, despite the three power connectors and additional PWM lines, overclocking over TDP is only 107%. Someone wrote here that he managed to overclock the CPU by more than +200MHz, but in my case, even about +120MHz there are doubts about the stability of the work (it takes a frequency of 150, but does not pull out in the long-term mode, games crash periodically). The memory runs fine even up to +1100MHz. In principle, given that the manufacturer's card is already overclocked by 13% in terms of frequency and 20% in terms of power consumption, this is not a drawback. In principle, overclocking in my case is not so necessary, more based on the fact that by reducing the power and additional power lines, I can protect myself from failure, at least in terms of power.

Pros
  • Power, relatively quiet and efficient cooling system, add. power lines. Excellent factory overclock (I actually got 1920MHz, like the EVGA Kingpin), but there is a small but.
Cons
  • A very huge card, three slots wide, barely even fits into an ATX Full Tower case (which itself is the size of a cabinet and the height of an IKEA table). Overclocking potential is quite small. The Gaming/Silent switch is some kind of sudden atavism from the nineties, why the hell do you need it when all normal people already use utilities to adjust the cooler speed depending on temperature. .: VERY high temperature in the memory chips - up to 100C and higher (the temperature is not the chips themselves, but only inside them, including the chip is a little cooler, but this does not make it any easier).
