Received this as a birthday present for an 8 year old and she loved it for the first few days but after a few days she started to complain about itching . We thought it was sweating from the summer weather and asked them to wear it looser. But she complained again that she didn't want to wear it as she felt uncomfortable scratching her hands from time to time. We noticed red marks/scratches on her wrist where she wears her watch. We've treated the straps and back of the watch with coconut oil and olive oil, but it's still hesitant enough to wear it all the time. As this is her first watch, she thought learning to tell the time using outdated methods instead of an electronic watch would be the right choice for her, but unfortunately we couldn't persuade her to wear one. The watch was very well made and appears to be of high quality with nice straps but I have not been able to figure out why the red markings even though the straps are not plastic or rubber/latex. We'll try it in the winter to see if it's related to the summer weather, but in the end it might not be for everyone sensitive enough.
