I am a dog trainer and have been working with dogs for ten years. This leash was a huge help in teaching my dogs how to walk properly on a leash. Gliding leashes are great for training most types of dogs. My only issue with them is that the little notch that was supposed to keep the leash from coming loose resolved itself. I have not experienced this problem with other brands of training cords I have used. However, if used correctly, this is not a big problem. I've seen a small number of people complain about their dogs slipping off this leash. These people are abusing this leash. When used correctly, your dog will not slip out. This is not a leash to be used for any purpose other than training your dog. It should not replace a regular leash, collar or harness. If you buy one, watch some YouTube videos or read some literature about this type of leash. You can hurt your dog if you use it incorrectly.
