My daughter came out of her nappy quite early, much to our disappointment. Even on Velcro! She also hates it when her hands are tied. Not getting swaddled is a great transition, she can't avoid it, she can move her arms however she wants without slapping her face, and it can be left open so she can suckle her hands for comfort . . With that she started to sleep a little better as she didn't unbuckle the diaper and didn't wake up. I have found that the neckline can stretch a bit after a while so be careful. (I've had it for a few months and so far it hasn't extended long enough to even be a problem)
