I'll start with questions to consider when purchasing this monitor. As someone who used to have multiple monitors, the sheer amount of motion blur and ghosting in games was immediately noticeable. Gaming aside, the quality of the stand and the monitor itself seems good, but my displayport broke (never cracked) mid-use after a few months. I've seen other reviews of this monitor mention very unreliable ports as well. Other than that, the picture and brightness were fine, and the overall look of the monitor and bezels was great. Looks good on the table but not too noticeable. There were no bad pixels or other issues for me. At one point it was one of the best budget monitors for its tier. Now I see that there are some others, of higher quality, competing. Is this monitor the choice for those looking to save $50 or less over other options? While this monitor gets the job done, I recommend purchasing another.
