My husband and I are trying to push two XL single beds together as we both need the exact opposite type of mattress. I didn't want to be tied down to buying double beds for the rest of my life, so the idea of having two twins was very appealing. As I pondered this new experiment, I realized we would need something that would fit between two beds. After a lot of research I found out that there are several products to connect two mattresses. They are called "Joinery", "Double Bed Conversion Kits", etc. I have read so many reviews and studied the photos of all the products available. The iRestful Sleep product caught my attention by noting that the developers of its design took into account all the reviews and complaints about other models. They took those complaints and used them to create a better product. Having never tried any other product I found this explanation very helpful so I bought it. You never know when a new company will notice a need and actually come up with a solution. This joinery and strap set arrived in one day. I have Prime, but even for Prime I'm not used to one-day deliveries. I thought the seam photos looked really good on the product. He was straight and even. There's nothing frivolous about that. Now that I see the product in my hands I can say that the stitching along the edges of the soft strip is exactly the same as in the picture. The foam insert that slides into the gap between the two mattresses is thick and long enough to stay in place. The wood pulp upper is very soft and comfortable. My husband and I haven't bought a bed sheet for our two mattresses yet, so we feel comfortable in the joinery. We haven't strapped down our two mattresses yet, but the beds haven't moved apart. The carpenter has remained in place to this day. We'll get to the strap in a moment, but it's nice to know that the connector behaves so well on its own. If product performance changes, I will post an update. I don't expect any changes. This is a really high quality product!
