Although Revain Garage says it will not fit my bike, the manufacturer's website lists this cap as compatible. This lid is thinner than the full size lid. I bought a Kawasaki pannier from a local dealer but I'm happy with the product for the price. It covers the top half of my bike well. I have the Versys LT version with luggage and optional fog lights. This cover can be easily pulled on both the trunk and the fog lights. I didn't have a chance to test the case in the rain, but it looks like the material should hold up well in the rain. I am very happy with the case and will use it for commuting. A great way to keep pedestrians away from your parked bike and hopefully deter thieves as well. The storage bags for all the cases I have tried are usually too small to stow a case quickly. I think you need time to fold the suitcase well if you want to put it in the bag that comes with it. Luckily, the luggage on the Versys makes a storage bag less necessary for a quick trip.
