I thought I'd buy the famous BBQ cover: ugly, flimsy, flimsy. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an attractive, durable case that fits my 200cc scooter perfectly! Starting at the back, I thread the attached strap through the wheel. The clip secures the trailing edge securely and I'm confident the lid will stay in place. The leading edge easily slides up and over the rear "cargo" box and seat - and it requires very little fiddling to work on and around the steering wheel and mirrors. The whole thing slips on once you pull the front edge down over the front wheel and secure with a strap and clip. The front and back edges of the boot are elastic so they easily stick to the base of the hoops. The sides are long enough (I don't know if "deep" enough?) to protect all parts of the body well. The top is adjusted to accommodate a rear box and a pair of fairly tall mirrors. The straps appear to be stitched very well to the body of the case and I didn't see any loose threads or loose stitching in any of the stitching. I paid a little over $20. I think I have a deal!
