I bought these magnets to use in a homemade mosquito net for outward opening windows. I used an ordinary window grille and sewed an edge from a slanted batting around the perimeter and sewed magnets into it. I found it very clever that I just use the included 3M adhesive strips to attach the magnets around the wooden window frame (matching where they are sewn to the screen). I put the screen back in and it lasted all day. That night before bed we noticed 2 mosquitoes in the room and found the screen had fallen off due to the adhesive strips failing. I wiped the area with rubbing alcohol so I'm not sure what the problem is. I ended up sticking magnets on white tape and it holds.
