You can't adjust the height, but the base is solid and you can tilt it back and forth. Height is not an issue for me, you can buy square bases to elevate the monitor if needed. The downside for me was that it only comes with a VGA cable and doesn't have a connector for an HDMI cable. So it has a connection for VGA and DVI. Just wanted to clarify as the other reviews and answers I read were mixed so I didn't know what to expect when it came out. My son's new HP computer that I ordered this monitor for does not use VGA or have a connector for it. So I had to spend more money to get an HDMI to DVI adapter. My cheapest and cheapest option is in place considering I already had an HDMI cable from a previous device. But it made my whole installation more expensive. It would get an extra star if it came with a DVI cable or had an HDMI port. I quickly realized there was a problem with the first product I received after coming home with the correct cable for my products. The first product I received was 12-15 dead pixels. If you don't know what dead pixels are, they mean little pink dots where the light colors of what should be appearing on your display should be scattered, easier to see when you see something dark, not sure if it's a defect was or because of shipping. The replacement was delivered quickly and much appreciated. As long as everything is working well, all pixels are alive and well.
