Filter type recently changed. The old version was all white, slimmer and taller (pictured left). Her new version is black on the outside, wider and shorter (on the right in the picture). Although both filters are suitable for the Honeywell HCM-350, the performance differs significantly. The new one doesn't give much moisture. Although the humidifier in the children's room ran at maximum speed for 2 hours, the humidity in the room did not increase. Humidity stayed at 40% and room temperature at 77 F. That's seriously disappointing. I think this is because the black layer in the new version stays dry and doesn't absorb water. Also, the shorter filter height does not allow humidified air to be supplied to the fans above. The new filter lasts about a week, after which it starts to get moldy, so there doesn't seem to be anything good about the new version. Now I have to look around for a new replacement filter.
