Travel Smart Compress and Pack Space-saving bags work well for items like pajamas and underwear that might arrive at the destination slightly wrinkled. But they have managed to bring the laundry home from the trip when the laundry can be shrunk to make room for souvenirs. The four pockets in the system are easy to use. Two medium-sized bags are small enough to fit in your carry-on luggage. We're going to Alaska and this was the perfect way to pack in the fleece and briefs that are an unavoidable part of a glacier visit. The larger pockets were perfect for our coats. The key to using pouches successfully is to avoid overfilling and to slowly compress the sealed pouch. I roll it up from the end as instructed, then squeeze lightly as the air empties from the bag. Things wrinkle in the bag, so these bags are not suitable for clothes that you intend to unpack and carry unless you are comfortable with the wrinkled look. To be honest I can't think of a better way to bring home dirty laundry. except to hide it in my husband's pocket.
