Review on Wagan 3802 Pure Power Inverter by Brent Cole

No reverse polarity protection! No user-replaceable parts

and draws 50-60 watts (Designer Danby 1.7cu.ft) but then it had a problem , when I hooked up a fan that runs on 30 watts and draws 5 amps. By problem I mean it's shut down. I dropped it but it did it again. I will now admit that my battery pack has dropped to 11.45 volts but that shouldn't stop this inverter from running up to 110 watts. But more importantly, this inverter has no reverse polarity protection. I may have blown a fuse inside the inverter which will void the warranty if this is the case. But if I decide to open it up by checking the blown fuse to possibly replace it myself (solder it if necessary), it also voids the warranty. Sounds like the perfect catch-22, doesn't it, Mr. Heller? So if you are planning to buy this inverter, just note that it has no reverse polarity protection and you need to be careful when installing the power wires. My first psw inverter and I only used it one day.
