I tried three different car seats to find the perfect one. I originally bought a baby oxo nest because it looked good and matched my seat. I quickly found that the seat was too high for our table so I bought a smaller booster from the same brand which held the food in and was very difficult to clean. So I chose this chair because of the size characteristics. I didn't buy it initially because the look was just "uh" pretty basic, but what it lacks in style it makes up for in functionality. Easy to clean, comfortable for my little one and the customer service is top notch. I had an issue with a previous purchase from Hiccapop which was entirely my fault, I should have measured the playpen mattress and forgotten, but they refunded my purchase in full, no questions asked. When in doubt buy this one it is perfect and my little one became obsessed with it as soon as I strapped it to the chair.
