The product claims to reduce arrow ricochet and even shows stuck arrows in the photo in the description. After using it, I realized that this was completely wrong. The darts don't stick into the product at all, they pop out 100%. This is very disappointing as we bought it to protect hardwoods from sustained arrow ricochet. Our old wine cork rim worked better than this one. I was under the impression that this product had some sort of cushion that held the arrows. It's actually just plywood covered with wool. Something I could easily do myself. The cost of this product was high. I would say it looks nice and durable. I worry about how he's going to handle a lot of random teenage throws. I guess I need something to protect the floors now.
