Review on JoyBros Replacement Parts for iRobot Roomba 675 670 665 690 692 694 671 677 650 655 614 - Perfect Fit for Side Brush, Main Roller, Filter, and Caster Wheel by John Caldwell

I bought this particular Roomba upgrade kit because it said it was compatible with my Roomba (Roomba 677). When I got it I replaced all the pickup brushes and the side brush and was amazed at how my Roomba was performing. I also liked the brush cleaning tools that came with it. After about 2 weeks it was time to change the filter and it got sour. The bin didn't close after installing the replacement filter - almost, but not quite. When I pulled the old filter back out of the case and compared it to the replacement filter, the foam gasket on the replacement filter was a lot thicker so I tried cutting it off to see if that would work. no Finally, I did a very close comparison again, and in addition to the fact that the foam seal is thicker, the plastic frame of the replacement filter is also slightly larger. This is a real problem because while Roomba starts up with the trash can almost closed, the first time Roomba bumps into something, the trash can will open and Roomba will stop working. I put the old filter back in and it works perfectly. I guess I'll have to dig deeper and order original Roomba filters as all after sale filters look the same here at Revain.
