First let me say that I love the look of this suit. It's clearly well made and I was so impressed when it arrived. My son is 8.5 years old. He's short and heavier (not fat, but with a small belly). I ordered size 10 but it was too tight in the waist of the pants, the vest was tight and the chest of the jacket was a little tight. Pants were too long. Although the length of the sleeves was up. I was dropping it off for a refurb and there is no place to drop off these suits so I'll order 12 and pray there will be enough. My son is 51 inches tall, weighs 65 pounds and has a 27 inch waist. .
