That's my fault, I should have read the full description. These are USB 2.0 cables, not USB 3.0. However, they comply with the QC 3.0 standard (Quick Charge Performance 3.0). The USB 2.0 transfer rate is 480 Mbit/s. The USB 3.0 transfer rate is 5.0 Gbps. I received these to replace my old USB 2.0 cables, but I'm not returning them. These are very good cables, they are well built and strong and I really like the charge indicator. These cables are much nicer than the ones I've used. QC stands for Quick Charge. If you want to charge something faster, you need to plug it into the QC charge port or a standalone QC charger that plugs into the wall. . These cables (or any other cable) don't fast charge anything when you plug it into a standard USB port on your non-QC computer, laptop, or USB charger.
