Intentionally shortened life a bit on the nose

It's really hard to find items that aren't so badly flawed that they're just unsatisfactory. it's such a simple thing. so cheap to do. It is very rare to purchase a plastic divider organizer or tool box that meets at least the minimum design requirements. It's so easy to get it right. but it just doesn't (99% of the time) in my experience. I just wish it wasn't so damn obvious that this is intentionally false to encourage people to buy more as any decent PP box like this would easily outlive anyone who buys it. If they even tried to hide it a little, even that would be a big improvement for me. It's one thing to accept some subtle flaws or imperfections, or the fact that the fit and finish aren't perfect, etc. But it's quite another thing when a product looks and feels like a high quality product and has lots of tested packaging . and which demonstrate a deep understanding of manufacturing and design, but then suffer from one or two major flaws that greatly reduce lifespan. Or intentionally make it incredibly awkward to use. Often one or the other. And these errors look like it took extra effort to generate them. It's so common that I literally can't find a decent version of these plastic dividers, and no, it's not because they're "cheap". When the rest of the design is done so well, it all boils down to an odd design feature that seems to have taken EXTRA time to add to the model. There's no way to top it with "it's just cheap". It has live hinges that will eventually break, AND THEY ARE LITERALLY SEPARATE PARTS THAT NEED TO BE INSTALLED! Guess what? The only reason not to use a traditional two piece hinge is UNLESS YOU WANT THE ADDITIONAL PRODUCTION COST OF ASSEMBLING THE TWO PARTS!
