It's a nice basic jump rope; you can adjust the length of the rope through a plastic pressure clamp. If you make the rope short, it might interfere with the easy rotation of the rope inside the hollow handle, but I didn't have any problems. The handles are comfortable and easy to hold. The rope has a nice weight to it and makes a satisfying tick when it hits the ground. Seems to be good quality. Might be a little light for double dutch, though- this is meant to be a one person jumprope.
