Review on Kelty Minnow Backpack Vivid Blue Backpacks by Ana Nguyen

This fall my son will be one of the youngest in his kindergarten class and oh my how he looks! He'll be five in October, but you might mistake him for a big three-year-old until he opens his mouth. He's about 39 inches and 32 pounds. This backpack fits him perfectly. I *could* put him in an LL Bean or Lands End kids' backpack, but then he'd cover his whole back and he couldn't carry it all the way, so what's the point? This summer we use a backpack to carry his lunch bag, change of clothes and a water bottle. Nothing else fits. Next year we plan for him to have lunch at school and put his school stuff in this bag. I think a standard 8x11 folder will fit in (but I'll probably have to bend the corners to make it fit). He loves wearing it (makes him feel like a big kid) and he likes the color he chose. It's pastel purple, and while it might scream "girly color" to some, I'm all for boys going purple again. This is a royal color. Or something like that. Violet.
