Review on Crunch SA 2100 4 Smash 100 Watt 4 Channel by Jon Manning

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good mids/trebles

To be honest, I initially had my doubts about this amp. It's not heavy, it looks and feels cheap, but you get what you pay for. I didn't buy it to drive subwoofers and that doesn't require quad amps. I have four Pioneer 6x9 4 ohm 2s in the doors and two in the back. My head unit, despite being an Alpine, didn't have enough power to put it on par with my subwoofers. Subwoofers were superior to 6x9. I bought this amp and 20 feet of 9 wire cable. Problem solved. It heats up to about 125 degrees Fahrenheit. I installed it on plywood to allow air to flow underneath. I drive over an hour every weekend and have had no problems, even if it's noisy, I mean seriously noisy. It balanced everything, my whole system sounds phenomenal and I get compliments everywhere. To be honest for the price you can't beat the mids it's a class A/B amp they get hot but they have better sound quality especially for the mids. My friends and I are all shocked at how good this sounds. The gain is set to about 1/4 turn, it has some power.
