Let me put it that way. My heels are always messed up. Even after going for pedicures I always feel like they are not doing their job as good as they could and one day the dental technician scratched my ankle because her hand slipped! I bought this after seeing a few reviews and thought ok let's try this. I have microplane graters and graters and they have lasted over 10 years. (3 piece set of Microplane Zester, Ribbon & Palm Grater from one of the teleshopping sites.) I am delighted with the results. The size is good and big, there is a plastic cover that not only covers the blades when not in use but also can keep the 'dust' so doesn't fly anywhere if you use it carefully not to overdo it . I have a few cracked spots on the heel that I'm trying to reach and end up overdoing it. It doesn't hurt until after a while, but these suction cups work really well!
