I bought these because of the price and didn't pay close attention to the capacity. I was looking for a reasonably priced option that would allow me to safely transport equipment in the back of my truck and bought it ahead of time. However, if you're looking for an option that can be done right away, it's better to go ahead and invest in a sturdy ratchet strap. I was even more dissatisfied when I saw four packs of $21 heavy duty harnesses at Lowes the other day and bought a $10 Husky 3,000 pound breaking strength harness (which I ended up using to build the device wear over 50 miles).
