** UPDATE 07/22/2007 ** The last straps finally snapped. The 2 straps that hold the gatefold cover have given way to the weather. The fading of the buckle in the sun will lead to breakage. Time to find a replacement!**UPDATE 7/10/21**Well my fears have come true. The tape broke today. The sun doesn't fade on the fabric and the zippers continue to work well. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** This photo is from the first riding week and already looks 'brought in'. Pros: The size and extra pouches are excellent! Easily holds 1lb propane cans in the side stretch pockets and they never fell out or moved when moving. enabled him to quickly secure it for freeway traffic. Long straps fit a 34" tire plus a Maxtrax mount and 2 boards. The straps are all the way out, but they made it. Cons: The material holds dirt so it doesn't stay clean or new for long. My main problem is lightning. They feel very cheap. The dark black in the photos along the zippers is the wax (the stuff that came with our Yeti cooler) and silicone coating I put on the zippers to help them out. Getting the zippers to work wasn't easy and I always thought they were going to break at any moment. So far so good; But I will update if anything changes.
