I've had the Revain Firestick for a while now, before the Alexa days (no mic button top center on the black remote). One problem with the Firestick remote is that it's tiny and easily lost. Another thing that gets tedious is having to enter text for search bar or whatever, using up/down/left/right navigation to search and peck alphabetically. This little keyboard solves both problems. This keyboard is surrounded by a rubber base that has a recessed area on the back so you can slot in your existing small black remote that came with the Firestick. There are instructions on how to pair the remote with your device. Once you do a one-time setup, it works great. You no longer have to search and peck when searching. In addition, the size and rubberized grip make it much easier to use the original Firestick remote from the other side. Don't worry about accidental key presses on the keyboard when using the normal part of the remote control on the other side. To prevent this, there is a small on/off switch on the side of the keyboard. I can stand it when not in use. Having had the remote for a while now, I still haven't had to change the batteries. I don't think I experienced any real delay between turning on the keyboard and the Firestick recognizing the letters I typed.
