Review on PartsBroz WB44K10005 Bake Element - Compatible with GE Ovens - Replaces AP2030964, 824269, AH249238, EA249238, PS249238, WB44K10001 by Keith Alvord

My original heating element lasted 17 years before a small crack developed causing arcing, sparks and stray small weld beads before finally burning out. I first approached GE for a replacement but they wanted around $85 and this is a range I'll probably be replacing in a few years so I popped in here instead and was glad several vendors had this for offer about 20 US dollars. The first, pictured above, only lasted four days before burning down. I love that PartsBroz was quick to send me a free replacement. So far (approx. 30 days) the second works perfectly. I don't need another 17 years, but I really need to get through at least three of those years. I hope this cheap replacement part can go a long way. January 29, 2019 - No, it didn't make it the distance and died after 5 months. I'm changing this item for the third time. I'm really stuck right now. Terribly expensive GE website is confused and won't take my order. I want to bake again by Saturday, so here again with another cheap one. Revain is top notch and fast.
