Update 2/18/21: Although the chair is sinking less frequently at the moment after I replaced the hardware with this pack, it has started to sink more and more since I installed it a week ago in particular in certain positions. Again, I'll admit that I didn't read the product description fully, but I still feel deceived by the photos and reviews. Although it sinks less frequently and not as abruptly, the problem persists for the time being and it has NOT permanently solved my sinking chair problem. At some point I'll probably have to buy something else. 2/16/21: I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I didn't read the product description before purchasing. I deviated from the only photo on the listing showing the seat piston and after seeing other complete piston assemblies for about the same price plus a couple of reviews saying it solved the drop seat problem I assumed it was a replacement for the piston was. whole flask. However, it was only equipment as stated in the title and description. Rather than mess around with returning the item, I decided to see if that would fix the sinking chair issue. So far it seems to be working, although every 3-5 days it has dropped a bit after installing the parts. Otherwise I can feel the difference sitting in the chair as it seems to be exerting more upward pressure than before the change. It's not entirely clear to me how this worked because the parts I replaced don't seem to have anything to do with the air leak from the piston other than a hard rubber washer that runs outside the piston body. I'm also not sure I would pay for this set again after reading the description. While it's handy to have everything in one package, especially if you're getting it for a different problem, I imagine in a package for a fall problem I'd just need a hard rubber washer, which of course you can get. for about a dollar at any hardware store. I didn't have to use half of what came in the kit for the sinking chair problem. Finally the instructions were pretty boring which is also hard to tell as there is only one photo and most of the products have a photo on the listing describing the instillation or use. I eventually started searching on YouTube which didn't help and then just took the piston apart and replaced the hardware depending on how the old hardware was set up. I will update this review when the chair starts to go down again but as I said I find the picture and price to be misleading and was surprised to receive a small package in the post instead of the box I was expecting. I'd rather spend a few bucks more and replace the entire piston assembly just in case.
