straight out of the box, with stripes all over the picture. Shortly after selecting a language for setup, it went out. After turning it off and on again, nothing happened. The backlight turns on and you can see the separation of the screen and bezel in the lower left corner and the light shining through, but that's about it. We requested a refund and sent it back. UPS tracking showed it arrived four days ago and their policy is that they refund within 2-4 hours of receiving the item. I don't see anywhere how to contact them to inquire about a refund. We would like to buy a new TV but we can't until we get the money back. The whole ordeal was just pain.
