Poor technique, this isn't the belt you want.
These belts are bullshit. The prongs that hold the buckle to the belt don't slip or snag at all. I tighten the belt just enough to hold my pants without being too tight. There was a second turn and the buckle came loose and popped clean. THANK YOU MIZUNO!
