The price was so cheap that I was afraid of getting a product you pay for. I needed this to expand an existing "big name" brand A/V rack. I was excited when I found this, but with all the transparency, I expected to see a thin, soft aluminum tube that would make me question the integrity of my project. However, I was ABSOLUTELY wrong! I ordered this extension as well as the suggested coupler. The material is solid! Well made and NOT flimsy, soft aluminum. - Completely satisfied with this product and will continue to buy accessories from QualGear!
